What Causes Headaches With Pain Behind Ear While Having Diabetes And BP?

My husband is dieabetic and has high blood pressure, for over a month he is having bad headaches, left back side down his neck and behind left ear ,went to er no they run test and blood work couldn t find anything I m getting worried, about a stroke work
