What Causes Hearing Loss And Tinnitus In Ear?

Dr. Doctor,

Two days ago my right ear started ringing and I experienced hearing loss. The day after I went to the doctor and had ear wax removed with a hydrogen peroxide/water solution. He did say there was a bit of fluid in the ear canal. I was told my symptoms should clear in 2 - 3 days.

This afternoon, approximately 28 hours after the ear cleaning the hearing loss went from being about to hear about 80% normal down to 50%. A few hours later the ringing returned and hearing capacity is approximately 15% of normal. I know I was told it would take a few days, but should I be worried? Any need to go to an urgent care provider since it is the weekend and the regular doctor is unavailable?
