What Causes Heart Palpitations After Burping?

I was laying down last night and noticed my heart started beating harder, faster after I burped. My husband could see the intensity of my heart beat through my clothes. This may have happened before but certainly not often. Because I was not excerting energy when this happened confuses me. Should I be concerned?
