What Causes Heavy And Irregular Menstrual Bleeding While UPT Is Negative?

I am a 24 year old female. I have given birth vaginally to one child 5 years ago. I am currently having problems with my menstral cycle. I have been bleeding for 2 months, with only 2 weeks of not during that time. Its heavy with alot of cramps. I took a pregnancy test, it's negative. I'm going through about 10 super tampons a day. What could be the reason for this?
