What Causes Heavy And Long Menstrual Bleeding?

i came on my period and then went off four days later on the 6th day i came back on my period ....and ive been on ever since and its day nine and im still on....there is off an on heavy bleeding and clotting even some nausea....can u tell me whats wrong
