What Causes Heavy Bleeding After Skipping Birth Control Pill?

Hi I am very scared and worried at this moment. I finished my period 2weeks ago and started taking pills day after but on the fifth day I missed one and the next day took two. But on that night I started bleeding and its still heavy very heavy:( I m still taking my pills. Took two today by a friend s advice. When is it gonna stop?!
