What Causes Heavy Bleeding After Using Tea Tree Oil Suppository?

I used one tea tree oil suppository and it appears to be making me bleed for now 3 days after. It is not hemorrhaging but more like a heavy period. There is no pain or cramping. I called my doctor and the nurse encouraged me to continue to monitor and if cramping or bleeded becomes severe to go the ER.

Any thoughts as to why this is happening or if there is any additional follow up I should do
