What Causes Heavy Bleeding During Menstrual Periods?
Hi. I'm 24 years old. I am 5ft3 and obese 20st. I have put on 4 stone since having my son 19months ago. I have suffered from high blood pressure in the past but now it is okay. Also I have A mild form of spinabifida and I lost my ex partner 4 years ago and since have developed GAD about dying. What My concern is and also my question is about my periods. After having my son it took me ages to get them back on track. I have finally got them back to normal, sometimes being a bit late. I started to get some pain in my groin area a few months ago and thought nothing of it. Then I had a not so normal period one last month. Normally I have a little brown discharge, Then it take a day or so for bleeding to start, then I'm on for 3-5days and barely do I get any pain Normal. Its been like this since I started at 12 years old. Last month though
I out the blue suddenly come on, after having a few very passionate days with my boyfriend. It was VERY heavy and I passed big clots for 4 days. Then it became very painful, it came though my knickers and pj bottoms a few times, I was wearing two towels at a time and changing them every 2-3 hours. This went on for 11days. It finally finished. Then 2 weeks after this, I got pain in my groin again, Then I started getting period pain, then pain in my back. And now ever since the 10th of last month I have these pains. Now also with pains in my legs. I have been in so much pain with my back that its had me in tears. The only time I get rest really is when I lie down. It hurts to walk. I'm in a medical limbo here, I'm to young for a smear test and to old for the cervical jab. I'm worried about cervical cancer. I went to my doctor 3 weeks ago, and he said about having an internal and a pelvic Ultrasound. He said about seeing what this period is like first, I was due 16days ago. I have done to pregnancy tests and they came back Negative. I am so scared. I was refused a smear test 19months ago and then again about 6months ago. If I have any abnormal cells, they wouldn't/wont give me a smear test, so they could change and they and I are none the wiser until it spreads. I'm fed up of my doctors blaming my GAD and my weight. Its easy to say I'm imaging it, and its easy to say that its my weight. But fat people with Anxiety disorders get ill too. I think my doctors know me to much and judge me. My doctors might as well/Could of well signed my Death Certificate. :-(
