What Causes Heavy Bleeding From Nose And Mouth?

hi, my mother-in-law is 46 years of age and she has blood coming out of her nose and mouth in large amounts. she has been suffering from heart blockage for three years now, but no previous history has been recorded of bleeding so far (except twice in the last two months). please tell me, what could be the cause; please help
