What Causes Heavy Bleeding When Nuvaring Is Used Back To Back?

I am using Nuvaring back to back to skip my withdrawal bleeding for a vacation. This is the first time i have done it (2 weeks ago) and i have had bleeding non stop for the 2 weeks... heavy enough to use a regular tampon every 3 or 4 hours... should i stick with it or what should i do???
