What Causes Heavy Bleeding?

I am trying for a baby, my last period was Feb 12th, I took a pregnacy test (digital) on friday and it said pregnant 1-2 weeks, however this morining I have started to bleed quite heavily, and having pains in my stomach. This has now made me doubt whether or not I am pregnant. Can you help?
