What Causes Heavy Bleeding?

last night, i had sex and we found that the condom broke. this morning i got up to pee, and i was bleeding heavily. as i was going to the bathroom a piece of the broken condom came out of my vagina and ever since then, iv been bleeding a lot. im not due to get my period for another two weeks. is this normal and what could be the reasons for the bleeding?
