What Causes Heavy Bleeding,body Vibration And Cramps During Periods?

Hi, I am a 26 soon to be 27 years old woman. I have had my period since I was 11 years old. Today is the first day of my period and I feel shaky. I'm not bleeding heavy, I felt sick and threw up, and my cramps are very bad but it has always been that way, is that normal? Do I need to go to the doctor?
