What Causes Heavy Periods Along With Severe Abdominal Pain?

I have heavy periods ( to be specific I have to change tampon and pad meant for heavy night flow every 1-2 hours during the day) with large clots (For first 1 - 2 days of period ). I try to control the pain level which can be sharp at times 8/10 pain. Ive tried heating pads and controlling pain with motrin and Tylenol. It can be so bad I have to call off work because I am on my feet and the pain and bleeding is so bad the first two days. What should be my next step in your experience. My mother has a history of endometriosis. And I have been told that I have a very small benign cyst not taking a blood supply (Via ultra sound). I just feel I need to take action as it is affecting my life. I also have a small window to have children and would like the opportunity to have a healthy pregnancy.
