What Causes Hiccups And Popping Sensation In The Abdomen When In Supine Position?

I'm a 44 year old male. When I lie down (usually before bed) I get this clicking, hiccup, popping feeling in my stomach. It happens about once every 30-45 seconds. It doesn't hurt, just irritating that it occurs. I hope this is enough expatiation to go on.
