What Causes High Heart Rate When On Cardizem?

I am currently on Cardizem LA 180. My dr dropped my water pill and put me on inderal la 60 mg w the cardizem. My pulse dropped to the low 50 upper 40S. I stopped the inderal per my dr. It took 2 days to get my pulse in the upper 50s. Now I'm just on the cardizem la 180 at night but my BP goes to 150/95 area every night around 7pm. I don't know what to do. The reason for me on the cardizem la 180 is for pvcs and high heart rate. Please tell me why my BP goes up the same time everynight until I take my pill again. Im just so scared of having a stroke or something.Thanks you so much.
