What Causes Hot And Redness Of Ears?

hello,I have been having a strange sensation which affects my ears and both my arms. It is difficult to describe, it feels like chills and flushing at the same time. I lasts a few minutes and leaves my ears hot to the touch and red. It sometimes happens to my face only but feels more like a flush without the red appearance.
