What Causes Hot Flashes, Hair Thinning, Dry And Wrinkled Skin?

I had a complete hysterectomy at 40. I have been on a low dose Vivelle Dot 0.025 for about 20 years and on Estradiol 0.025 for the last 10 years. I am now 70 years old and i was told to gradually get off of it altogether. My Dr. said I have been on it too long and I could get cancer. I have been off for about 5 months now afew hot flashes here and there. However, lately I have noticed my hair is really thinning at my crown and my skin is thinner and I see more dryness and wrinkles. I have never had this problem ever in 30 years on estrogen. I am considering going back on Estradiol. What do you think I should do?
