What Causes Hot Flushes All Over My Body?

Hi, i have been taking Niaspan for about 4 weeks and tonight i am having very bad flushing and burning feeling all over. its been going on for over an hour and a half. i have taken some ibuprofen, i don't have asprin. How long is too long for this to be happening?
