What Causes Hot Flushes Along With Burning In Eyes Of A Child?

6 year old granddaughter complains the last night or 2 of her eyes burning and crying a lot. She also during these times felt very hot although my thermometer only registered 97 -98 something. She feels much much hotter. My thermometer may be wrong for it registers me at 96. She sleeps and is also not normal to her making noises and talking in her sleep as if she is delirious. She seems perfect during the day though. she also seems to have headaches.
