What Causes Hot Spots On Right Foot?

I have been getting hot spots on the top of my right foot. I recently had l5 s1 facet joint injections after a non succesful disc replacement at l5 s1. Are the hot spots related to any of the above??? I noticed the hot spots about 1 week after the facet joint injections.
