What Causes Impetigo On The Arm?

My son has impetigo, twice now within a matter of weeks. I think it might be to do with his bathroom/shower room, the floor underneath the lino is quite damp, maybe theres a leak somewhere. Do you think its connected? The impetigo is on one side of his body, mainly his arm. He's on antibiotics again for it.
