What Causes Incomplete Dissolved Sutures After Gall Bladder Removal?

I recently had surgery for gall bladder removal, laproscopic. There were 4 incisions, all but one the largest one had healed. My concern is that only dissolvable sutures were used and they still there as of yesterday could I have some kind of reaction to them that made them not go away?
