What Causes Increased Bruising While On Zoloft?

Hello! I am not very concerned but my sister insisted I get a medical opinion on increased bruising while taking Zoloft. I am aware that the medication reduces blood-platelet count and am sure this is quite a common side effect. The bruising is not extensive, but more frequent and severe than prior to my starting the medication.
