What Causes Infection In Nose?

the doctor says i have an infected pimple on the inside of my nose. on the tip of my nose i have 2 spots that are scabbed. the swelling went up to my eyebrow and all the way down my throat and made my left eye swell shut. My glands are swollen and on the inside of my nose is a huge growth and yellow mucus keeps draining out of my nose. is this in fact a pimple or a possible spider bite?
