What Causes Inflamed Vagina With Red Spots?

Good Morning I would like to see if you could help me I had a pap Smera a week and a half ago, at the time the doctor told me i had a angry red Vagina and my cervic had tiny red spots on it i am 54yrs old I do have a small amount of bleeding after sex I don't have sex very often as i have no partner My last pap was 5yrs ago i have to go and see the dr again as they called me a bit worried I have no itch or sores thank you
