What Causes Inflammation In Throat On Having Certain Foods?

I had UP3 surgery in August, I am having particles of the cut areas come up in my phylum and after blowing my nose. Is this normal? My throat also gets inflamed by certain foods- which I try not to eat- due to chocking and causing irritation in my throat. My throat can close where meds. are difficult to take.
I do have reflux and asthma. I can't tell if My recovery will be quick enough to attend work. Since surgery- my memory and connecting some obvious information is not happening now. Please tell me what is happening to me?
