What Causes Inflammation In Throat With Nausea An Fatigue?

Hi I started getting sick in mid July i had high fever every day for about a week i also had gas,nausea,fatigue and blackouts and inflammation in my throat i went to the doctor a week later and she said that it was an infection and it will go away on it own, prescribing me no medicine.I spotted blood for about 7 days after i got sick.It is now august and my period is a week late Ive taken 5 pregnancy test and all are negative my period is 15 days late which is very unusual for me.I went to the gynecologist yesterday however and he said i am not pregnant but diagnosed me with bacterial vaginosis.could there be a larger reason behind all my infections?could this be affecting my period?I am very worried.Please help. i was prescribed 4 tablets of tindamax and birth control that i have not started yet, may I answer your health queries right now ?
