What Causes Inflammation Of Eyes While Being Diagnosed With Keratoconus?

I have keratoconus and was wondering why my optometrist never did a topo test. I went in jan and there was no one there to do one that day but i am surprised he never did one after that during my many visits since then. Should he hqve done one and would hqbe it made rhe contact lens fitting process faster. I am on my 6th change for the effect eye.Also, this might sound stange but i always have that eye feel swollen but if i eat a banana that relieves it. Is this inflammation a normal symptom of keratoconus?
