What Causes Inflammation Of Surgical Scar Post Hip Reconstruction Surgery?

I have had one hip replacement it failed 7 years later. I had a hip reconstruction and developed a staff infection and one year later had to undergo another hip reconstruction. it has been 13 months and i now have moderate pain in my hip area with redness over the scar and very tender to the touch. It is also very inflamed. I go back to see my surgeon in two days and am having blood work done tomorrow. Do you think it could be anything other than another infection.
