What Causes Intermittent Pain In Chest Area?

I ve been having some sharp pains in the chest area that lasts about a second. and a little sharper pain just to the left of the middle of my chest while i m lying down on my right side and disappears as soon as i roll over to my left side. Pains just comes and goes every now and them.
