What Causes Intermittent Pain In Neck,sweating And Anxiety?

hi, I have been having a throbbing pain in the right side of neck I believe in the artery there. The pain comes and goes but it can last for several minutes. I have been experiencing sweating at strange times along with moments of a feeling of anxiety. Its very awkward. I am 47 and have gone thru menopause for about 3 years now. Haven t really had any severe symptoms that I know of. Anyway the pain will start in the evening time and lately while Im sleeping keeping awake with the pain and fear. Is this possibly a clogged artery or a pinched nerve?
