What Causes Intermittent Sharp Pain Radiating From Testicles Towards Ribs?

My balls or testicles keep hugging or jumping up to where it feels as if they r in the lower part of my stomach or abdominal area. My balls seem to be throbbing and at times while they are hugged up I get a sharp kinda shocking pain that runs from nuts to ribs. Doctor told me I have some sort if build up at the base of my spin/tailbone But aren t sure of what it is yet...what do think?
