What Causes Intermittent Tingling Sensation On Right Side Of Head?

I have tingling sensation on right side of head....over last couple days has increased in frequency...today is constant tingling sensation. This has started slowly over the past year...with episodes happening 2 or 3 times a month and the sensation going away. Over past month more noticeable....every 1/2 hour...to every 15 minutes. Today tingling sensation has stayed permanently on right side of face.....I have no pain....only know there is something not right. thank you
