What Causes Irregular Menstrual Periods?

i am having polysystic ovary and irregular periods. I took MT pill for not getting pregnent before 20 days. but i dint got my periods yet. i got my last pertiod before 3 months. now i am confused . can i take any other medicine for getting my periods.
