What Causes Irregular Periods And Pinkish Discharge?

I am 22 years old! My periods have always been irregular! I get 1-2 a year! Haven't had one in at least 6 months! Im having a pinkish tannish discharge! It almost looks like make up! It's a little thick but not alot! What is this?
