What Causes Irregular Periods, Fever And Joint Pains?

Yes please. I am almost 54 years old. My periods have been coming every three months for the past year. Dr says hormone levels are very low and that i am going through menopause. Thyroid T3 was high last year, but then in Dec it came back within normal limits. This is the second time that i am experiencing what appears to be low grade fever, with joint aches. It occurs for about 8 hours out of day for about a week or two. Can you tell me if all of this could be related to menopause or thyroid. I am so miserable. Thanks, Sara
