What Causes Itchiness And Dryness Around Eyes?

Hi doctor,i believe I have got allergy on my face including, hives, redness, puffiness and itchiness all around my eyes. it started 2 days ago. I have been taking Piriton tablet+ eye drop 0.5% w/v chloramphenicol since then. Seems to get better but after 3 days, I'm still suffering from itchiness and dryness around my eyes despite applying baby oil on my face all the time. Do you think this might be allergy or something else from food? dermis problem? or ....I need your help please.
