What Causes Itching All Over The Body After Having Shower?

hi my name is jeff and i just got out of the shower and my skin started itchin while i was almost finshed but when i got out it jus got worst and everytime i scratch it started itching even worse in a different spot. why is this and how can i prevent it from happening again
