What Causes Itching All Over The Body During Menopause While Having Diabetes?

I am a diabetic type2 and going through menopause about ayear ago I started feeling itching over myentire body ,crawling sensations and biting on skin majorityof the time. crawling in eye eyebrows entire face and ears I have use creams for itching every day and take allergy pill at night to help with the itching. told my dr. and they think I am crazy it is unbearable when. I stratch I get arising on my skin and it turn red and painful and take afew days to heal
