What Causes Itching All Over The Body?

Hello, about 12 ours ago my body starting itching a lot and when I was able to finally shower i noticed small raised bumps, and rashes forming. I went to bed and about 3 hours later was woken up by being incredibly itchy all over, I woke up and every area of bumpiness or redness has grown.
