What Causes Itching And Burning Sensation In Anal Area?

Hello Dr, Grief. I am female, not sexually active and I just came off my cycle 3 days ago. Afterwards, I have been having anal itching. It started out itching around my buttocks area, then got worse. When I take showers, use it, or if water hits that area it burns a bit. It often hurts and now pimple like bumps are occurring down my anal area. Can you possibly tell me what it could be, like an infection or something?
