What Causes Itching And Dryness Around The Pubic Area?

i have a horrible itchy rash on my pubic area...my dr first took a quick look and said it was razor burn. ive never had razor burn before. but i took her advice and stopped shaving for over a month. the itching never stopped or slowed. i know i dont have any STDs because Im pregnant and have been tested. this problem started probably three months before i got pregnant so it has nothing to do with the pregnancy. its very itchy and kinda dry, ive tried everything from yeast creams to sensitive skins soaps and nothing helps. this has been going on for 7 months now with the only relief i can get is temporary relief from benadryl cream. Its not around my vagina only pubic area
