What Causes Itching And Swelling In Lacrimal Caruncle?

Hello Doctor My lacrimal caruncle has been itchy for a couple of weeks now. It swells a little bit sometimes but doesn t make my eyeball red. What makes it itchy and what can be done to stop the itchiness. Also, my nose aitches as well. And I stand to sneeze a lot. Are these symptoms of allergies?
