What Causes Itching On Chest Post Taking Steroid Injection For Pain In Hip?

I had a shop from my orthopaedic doctor 4 days ago for hip pain. I'm assuming it was a steroid shot since I had them for back pain by same doctor several years ago. The day after the shot I began to itch in the center of my chest between my breasts and the nipples of my breasts itched bad. Then my arms would itch - my back and my legs. It will go away for some hours and then return. I noticed that I had a metalic taste in my mouth immediately as the injection started.....I couldn't remember if this was the reaction I had before.....but I did not have the itching. Can you enlighten my on this please.
