What Causes Itching On Palm And Redness On Skin?

I live in Perth, Australia. I have itching and subsequent bumpy redness on my skin. The itching is sever particularly on palm and feet to disrupt sleep. The itching is not consistant and is better after a hot shower or applying aloe-vera gel or moisturiser.
