What Causes Itching Sensation On Vaginal Area?

I ve been noticing slight itching every once and a while inside my vagina. There is no pain just slighy itchy . I decided to look at it today and there are growths on the inside of my vagina, they don t look like bumps just growth. I m scared my boyfriend may have given me something or im hoping its just vaginal rugae. Can vaginal rugae just suddenly appear though? What does this sound like ?
