What Causes Itchy And Burning Rash On The Roof Of The Mouth?

I have a rash type of feeling on the roof of my mouth and it itches and burns, the skin around my mouth and lips has also started to itch. This is the 3rd time this has happened and it usually lasts almost a week...what could this be? Ive never had allergies before.
