What Causes Itchy Blisters On Face?

I have a rash on both sides of my face that appeared suddenly and seem to be small blisters that slightly itch. My face looks like it s filled with acne pockets where smooth skin once was? What could be causing should I go in to doctor. I am also breastfeeding a 2 month old should I stop?
