What Causes Itchy Burning Sensation On Ear After Having Pneumonia Shot?

I m having a weird itchy burning sensation on the top part of my ear right ear only. Oddly had a few hives on my right arm earlier today, but those went away. I had a pneumonia shot in my left arm on Thursday...that s only thing different I ve done lately and am in good health. Possible minor allergic reaction?
